In collaboration with MaxBrain, Netgen has redesigned and technologically modernized “esevent” for Electrosuisse. The multilingual event tool promotes visitor interaction as an information, survey, and analysis tool. Designed in the new Electrosuisse look and feel, it offers all the proven features with improved user-friendliness.
Netgen defined the relevant workflows for the tool, designed a database model, and specified the technical specifications and frameworks. The UX/UI design was also created by Netgen. The chosen solution was implemented based on Symfony (backend) and React (frontend). It is continuously being expanded and optimized.
At the start of the project, Electrosuisse already used a tool called “dvent” for events, which needed to be redesigned. The aim was to retain all of its functionalities, while modernizing and improving them. The focus was on optimizing the user experience and increasing efficiency. Further challenges included multilingualism, the modular structure of the tool, and scalability for up to 100 simultaneous users.
The result is a user-friendly event tool that significantly increases and enriches visitor interaction at conferences and courses.
The versatile platform combines three key functions:
The multilingual support, which appeals to an international audience, is particularly practical. As part of the project, we completely redesigned the existing tool and put it on a modern technological footing. In doing so, we placed great importance on designing the application in the characteristic Electrosuisse look and feel so that it integrates seamlessly into the brand world.
All the tried-and-tested functionalities were retained in full, while user-friendliness was significantly improved through more intuitive operation and optimized workflows. The result is a future-proof, powerful solution that meets the requirements of modern event communication.
