Our Role
A job from A to Z: Netgen was commissioned to develop the visual tools from scratch for the newly established urology practice in Hombrechtikon in the Canton of Zurich. This included the creation of a logo, website concept, UX design and the development of the website based on Storyblok. UX writing and copy editing formed part of the project.
Challenge
The project was commissioned in summer 2024 and the practice opened in January 2025. Within this period, we were entrusted with creating a completely new brand – from the logo, including signage and stationery, to an informative and appealing website.
Solution
Corporate design: A brand-new brand
The design of the website went hand in hand with the development of a well-thought-out corporate design. The colour scheme of elegant sand grey and a rich, soothing deep blue, the clearly structured logo, the carefully curated visual language and the typographical selection create a harmonious overall picture: modern and clear, yet friendly and approachable.
Logo development: the ‘U’ sets the points
The logo design deliberately avoids the anatomical visualisations often used in the industry. Instead, the design relies on puristic typography and clarity. The stylistically modified and emphasised ‘U’ creates a subtle, aesthetic connection to the field of urology.
Pixel-perfect web design
The website was also designed with great attention to detail. It impresses with concise yet unagitated blue tones, which are inspired by the interior design of the practice. Specially created icons, which underpin the medical services of the practice, give the site a charming touch.
The website offers a balance between information and impressions, professionalism and approachability.
A blog with valuable insights
In addition to a professional description of the medical services offered, the website also contains a number of blog posts on specialist topics. This way, patients and other interested parties can learn valuable information on supposedly taboo topics such as incontinence or fear of doctor visits, as well as why women can/should also go to a urologist.
Frequently asked questions about visiting the practice and medical examinations are summarised and answered in a practical FAQ section.
The perfect Storyblok project
The headless CMS is characterised by its high degree of flexibility and is extremely advantageous for both developers and users. Storyblok provides a visual editor that allows content creators to edit content directly within the page preview. This minimises the need for constant consultation with developers, making the content management process much more efficient.
Thanks to the modular block system, which is reusable, as well as the platform's numerous functions and tools, content curation is significantly simplified. The cloud-based infrastructure also ensures that the CMS is highly scalable. This means that it can easily keep pace with the growing demands of growing companies and projects, without the need for additional investments in the instance. Another advantage of the powerful system is its API-first architecture, which enables seamless integration with a wide range of tools and services.
