Job portal for training positions at the Höhere Fachschule Pflege and OdA Gesundheit Zürich
Netgen has designed and implemented a portal for training positions for students of the Höhere Fachschule Pflege together with the OdA Gesundheit Zürich and several healthcare companies.

The Organisation der Arbeitswelt Gesundheit Zürich was founded in 2007 and is the industry association for vocational training in the healthcare sector in the canton of Zurich. OdA Gesundheit Zürich represents its members in the design, development and implementation of healthcare training in the Canton of Zurich.

Our Role: Development of a digital job platform
Netgen conceived, designed and technically implemented the job platform together with OdA Gesundheit Zürich, various healthcare companies and ZAG & Careum.
Challenge: Cooperation between several companies
Students and trainees were to be able to search for their internship places directly via an online job platform, and the allocation of internship places was to be made much easier by the platform. Training centers and practice companies should also benefit from the new solution, as information became more easily accessible and it is easier to see who is assigned to which company.
Solution: Tailormade platform with specific workflows
Establish a new web application for recruitment and communication between three different parties:
- Schools
- Health institutions
- Students
Netgen first defined all the workflows and communication processes between the parties.
By using the CMS eZ Publish (today Ibexa DXP), which is already used in other OdA solutions, a good connection to existing portals was ensured. Thanks to a sophisticated UX design solution, the communication flow across all interfaces could be simplified.
The ongoing operation is ensured and optimized by active support.
