Project manager (Zagreb, CRO)

Here at Netgen we design and develop web solutions and build tools for web professionals. Our specialty is working on various content management projects, with which we have almost two decades of experience. Lately, we've extended our focus to building our own products. Now, we are looking for a new team member to join us in our office in Zagreb. 

We are looking for a Project Manager, a jack of all trades responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation to execution. 

What are we looking for?

  • Solid web/cms/e-commerce technology know-how, strong familiarity with the web and/or mobile industry
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in project management (preferably with web dev, mobile dev or marketing agency)
  • Skilled in process definition and project planning
  • Capacity to manage budgets, risks, estimations and expectations timely and properly
  • Experience with UX practices is a big plus
  • Experience with organizing and implementing workshops; ability to analyze research 
  • Ability to take the project owner and team coordinator role, taking ownership of the project tasks and outcomes
  • Experience working with project management tools, preferably JIRA
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Leading and inspiring high performance within the development team
  • Ability to manage details while seeing the big picture
  • Ability to handle project documentation and project evaluation
  • Grit, perseverance, and good problem-solving skills
  • English language is a must, German is a big plus!

After we receive your application, we will contact you back as soon as possible. Our team will evaluate your application and decide whether you might be the one we are looking for. If you might be, we will get back to you with a short assignment to get a clearer understanding of your skills or invite you for a cup of coffee during an interview.

When you send us a job application, you can be sure that we will review it thoroughly and carefully and that we will get back to you, even if we believe that you might not be the best candidate. Usually, we either send our candidates an assignment related to the job position or we invite them for an interview. During an interview we will discuss your assignment approach, and we will most definitely talk about your previous experience and career aspirations.

We are quite methodical about the entire selection process, so when it comes to interviewing we like to talk for hours, if necessary :) We like to get to know you and we believe that it is important that you get to know us, too. That said, you will be talking to our co-founders and some of the colleagues that you will be working closely with.

Working at Netgen will give you a chance to work for various clients from different countries, considering our two offices in Zagreb and Zurich. Also, it is interesting to mention that the average tenure of our current employees is 6.8 years. We are quite sure that our frequent birthday parties and after work beers are to blame :) 

Generally, yes. However, we prefer for our new employees to start working at Netgen from our offices. We believe that is a much better way to go through your onboarding process from the office and meet the entire team.
