Our role

Netgen led the end-to-end website redesign and development for Alfatec. Our responsibilities included facilitating discovery workshops with stakeholders to define user groups and business goals, designing and building a modern web platform, implementing a content management system with training for internal teams, and delivering key functionality for events, careers, and service pages. We provided recorded training sessions to ensure smooth adoption by the content team.

Challenge

Alfatec's previous website suffered from several critical limitations. The site was hosted exclusively on a Croatian (.hr) domain, which reduced international search visibility and undermined their positioning as a global-ready technology partner. The design was dated and the information architecture made it difficult for users to navigate the full range of services. Organic traffic was minimal, and the site generated almost no inbound inquiries or conversions. Additionally, the careers section lacked the depth and polish needed to attract talent in a competitive market.

Solution

We began with discovery workshops involving Alfatec's digital team and leadership to map out user personas, clarify market positioning, and align on business objectives. Based on these insights, we designed and developed a new website with clear service pages, an improved product display, and a restructured content library for news and educational materials.

Key features include an integrated event management system, a redesigned careers section with detailed employer branding content, and landing pages optimized for conversion and clarity. The Academy section now surfaces internal training content for external audiences, improving discoverability through search engines.

We delivered in-depth CMS training, including recorded sessions, to reduce onboarding time and increase content team productivity. The site was built to support ongoing expansion and future content needs.
