This was supposed to be a quick recap of my experiences at SOLIDay Serbia (May 30th, 2015), but I’ve opted for a lengthier exposition because there was so much going on and a short post just wouldn’t do the event justice.

Ever since Vitaly Friedman announced that last years’ Freiburg event is to be reenacted and the speakers lineup started to form, it was clear the event would be, pun intended, smashing. The lovely city of Oxford was chosen for the venue so it was even harder to say no to such a chance to learn and meet.

Last week I participated in the JBoye Web & Intranet Conference 2013 in Aarhus, Denmark. In last few years I had the chance to be on many conferences but rarely on such perfectly organised one. You can see and feel how much experience Mr. Boye and his team have in organising events, they are really using it to their advantage.

Recently I was participating in an online course (on Coursera) and one of the task was to do an industry analysis. So I did it for web design and development industry focusing on 2 parts:

• tools (content management vendors)
• creative touch (web agencies)

Be aware that I don't do these kind of analysis professionally :)
