Here at Netgen we design and develop web solutions and build tools for web professionals. We’re looking to expand our team in Zagreb with a PHP developer and we’re looking at you! :) Let’s see why we want you and why you should choose to work with us.
Why you?
You are a PHP developer. Senior or junior, doesn’t matter as long as you are willing to keep learning and improving your work. You may know how to work in Symfony. You know the LAMP stack (or a similar setup). You know of Git and know how to get around other common web technologies such as Javascript, HTML, CSS. If you are reading this, you are also in command of your English and, considering our international clients, this one is obviously a must. You also like singing out loud, birthday cakes, and beer after work.
You recognized yourself? Here’s what we offer!
Why Netgen?
We nourish a comfortable, yet stimulating working environment with colleagues who are always there for each other.
You’ll have a chance of continuous improvement of your professional skills through internal workshops and visiting great conferences where you’ll have an opportunity to mingle with the experienced developers and experts.
We’ll also be bringing those experts to you! At the end of August, we will take you to the coast where you will spend a week of learning & fun at our Web Summer Camp – the best team building of them all.
The rest of the time you’ll be working on interesting and diverse projects with great clients, from international book stores to Salsa festivals! There’s never a dull moment in our office.
You might also be building open-source tools and extensions that benefit the community and add nicely to our collection and write blog posts about your experiences.
You’ll be surrounded with crewmates who know what they are doing and aren’t afraid to ask if they get stuck. We expect the same from you. Your questions and ideas will be listened to, respected, and answered.
Also, we offer you flexible work hours. Plus, there are coffee/tea (we don’t discriminate!), cookies, and fruit around to give you a kick when you need it. :)
How to apply?
Send us an email at [email protected] containing:
- a short CV
- a list of the relevant projects/initiatives you’ve worked on
- social media profile(s), blog or similar
You may also give us a few reasons why you would like to work with us. :)
BTW, we will be at WebCamp Zagreb. Find us and let’s have a chat!
